A dear friend of mine is completing her senior thesis for her Fine Art Photography degree and asked if I would pose for her. She's doing her thesis on birth. I of course agreed and today we did the photo shoot. We started out in the woods outside Portland - brrr.... was it chilly or what?! About 39 degrees today! I was bare foot and bare bellied. I think she got some really cool shots though, she's quite artistic, and I consider myself to be the same, so I think it was a great collaboration. And I was happy I didn't have to look at the camera much, I got to look away most of the time. :) Then we went to her studio and shot some there. Some in a funky old chair, some sitting, some standing and some kneeling. EVEN... some in just my undies! I wore pretty black undies (cause she warned me what she was hoping to photograph) and she made me very comfortable the whole time. They are all realistic - ie. not photoshop'd type of images, so I'm looking forward to seeing how I really look. Plus, I think most will be great for a scrapbook of the pregnancy journey of mine. I'll post some photos as soon as I get them from her.
